SCREAMING PIXELS is owned by Keith English who has worked
for many multinational companies in the United States, Europe
and Asia, developing product which has generated almost $500
million in sales and personally working hands-on in CGI creation
for more than a decade.
ANIMATION & VISUAL EFFECTS
Screaming Pixels was established to both deliver to exacting
standards and at a reasonable cost, making CGI a truly cost
effective component of the production process. In addition
to contract work, Screaming Pixels develops its own production
work and is currently in pre-production with a 97 minute feature,
"WIBBLE," and a children's CGI series for American
Television. From character animation to complex, compound
special effects drawing both on 3D and 2D animation and compositing,
our work is output expediently, and to the highest industry
standards.
But we consider ourselves more than a production house. With
a strong background in concept development we can
add a great deal of strength with our innovative, creative
input if the client so desires. That doesn't make us Prima
Donnas,
and we can work to precise storyboard and creative direction
while maintaining rigorous schedules to meet production needs.
Equipped with SGI, NT and Macintosh platforms, and running
a suite of top end applications, including MAYA and SHAKE,
each
client is assured of the very best solution for any project.
INDUSTRIAL DESIGN
Unlike many Industrial Design companies our product design
experience runs wide. From ceramics to tightly engineered
products. We are able to make product stand apart from the
competition, while not alienating the general consumer with
wildly novel forms. Presentation levels are extremely high,
with product being shown at photographic levels from the very
first stages of development. Here our experience in 3D modeling
shines. By developing designs in the CGI environment we have
the ability to quickly reflect changes in color and form,
and give a virtual 360 degree view of the product. This is
only one small step from creating animated presentation for
review of the product, testing and even for initial introductions
to sales staff and vendors.
